Gregorian Chapel
• The relics are of St. Gregory Nazianzen. St. Gregory (329-389 ca). was the Patriarch of Constantinople and is a doctor of the church.
The relics were placed here by Pope Gregory XIII (1572-1585) who moved them from S. Maria in Campo Marzio. The chapel was completed during his pontificate and is named after him
