• The monument is Tomb of Pope Leo XIII (1878-1893). The statue on the left of a Laborer refers to his encyclical Rerum Novarum (1891) which began modern Catholic Social Teaching. The statue on the right is Religion
• The door below leads to the sacristy. In the passageway are the tombs of Cavalier d'Arpino (1568-1640) and Andrea Sacchi (1599-1661)
