• The monument includes Leo XI (1605) in the center, Majesty as the left statue, and Liberality as the right statue
• The rose designs beneath the left and right statues have the Latin: sic florui ("thus I flourished"). This refers to the shortness of Leo's pontificate which was only 27 days
