Chapel of St. Helen

• The inscription notes that the Chapel of St. Helen is built on soil from Calvary. When St. Helen returned from Jerusalem with the cross she also brought soil from Calvary. This chapel is built on top of that soil. Thus the name of this church: Holy Cross in Jerusalem

• The inscription also notes that women are only allowed to enter the chapel on March 20 which is the date of the chapel's dedication. The reason for this is because, at the time, the church was part of a monastery which was for men only
