Chapel of the Relics of the Passion

• From left, these relics are the finger bone of St. Thomas, fragments (Holy Sepulcher, column of flagellation, Bethlehem cave), and two thorns from the crown of thorns

• The index finger of St. Thomas was given to this church by St. Bridget of Sweden (1303-1373)

• The fragments were added by Abbot Benigni in 1825

​

• The thorns measure 3.5 cm and 3.4 cm
