• This chapel was dedicated to St. Dominic in 1498 by the Caffarelli family. A descendant of the family, Cardinal Scipione Borghese was the patron for the chapel including a painting of St. Dominic by Cavalier d'Arpino in 1620, now lost. After St. Louis Bertrand was canonized in 1671 the chapel was rededicated to him
