• The ceiling was commissioned by Cardinal Acquaviva and his coat of arms is found twice
• The painting connects St. Cecilia, the patron saint of music, with the organ. This is actually due to a misreading of her 5th century Acta which spoke of instruments (organis) present on her wedding day
