Anchor 1 ▼ ▲ ▶ ◀ Main Door • Over the main door it is recorded that the renovations of 1848-1855 were during the reign of Pope Pius IX (1846-1878) • Left of the main door is Funeral Monument of Diotisalvi Neroni. Neroni (1401-1482) was a lawyer from Florence. There are many Florentines buried here as this was the primary church in Rome for the Florentines before the construction of San Giovanni dei Fiorentini in 1518

Anchor 1 ▼ ▶ ◀ Aldobrandini Chapel This chapel was originally dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria by Cardinal Matteo Orsini. It was later rededicated to The Most Holy Sacrament and given to the Aldobrandini family. After being elected, Pope Clement VIII (1592-1605) renovated the chapel as a tomb for his parents employing Girolamo Rainaldi and Giacomo della Porta. Carlo Maderno completed the work
